iBROW held a final workshop as part of a focused Terahertz Electronics event at the University of Glasgow on 23-24 Apr-2018, attended by around 100 THz experts from across the world.

Agenda
The agenda featured some highly respected international guest speakers including:

• Prof. Elliott R. Brown (Wright State University, USA)
• Prof. Imran Mehdi (JPL-NASA, USA)
• Prof. Masahiro Asada (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan)
• Prof. Tadao Nagatsuma (Osaka University, Japan)

The workshop included forums to discuss current and future trends in THz electronics and applications, and served as an opportunity to develop new collaborations across academia and industry.

Exhibition
There was a small exhibition by industry as well as a live demonstration of the project result highlights which included short range high speed wireless communications using 300 GHz transmitters with data rates of over 10 Gbps using resonant tunnelling diode (RTD) technology.
